Hey Montana Stream team we are 4th graders at Ophir School in Big Sky, MT. we have been monitoring the health of some tribs of the gallatin river specifically beaver Creek acorss the road from our school. we will be studying the river all year to observe the changes during the seasons and track other cool scientific things

I am a 4th grader of ophir school,and this september I helped the bwtf (blue water task force)analyze different types of benthic macro invertebrate at beaver creek,as well as check the population of the bugs in the water.it was cold while I was getting the bugs into the net,but it was worth it! I really like checking
    how our invertebrate are doing! thanks for reading my comment!

Hi,montana stream team.Iam a fourth grader from ophir school in big sky.every friday our class goes to beaver creek a tributary flowing in to the gallatain river.we measure the water temp,see how fast it flows and collect algey and benthic macro invertobrates.then we identifiy them.then we record it in our feild journles.finally we walk back to school.

  15. hey montana! i am a 4 g at ophir skole sum day's ogo we we went to a plas cald bever creek at bever creek we split up into a cuople of grops one of the grops did bug hunting wich is a grop that anvegats bug's inthe water in one the bug's ate anther bug(cool!!!)

  16. hi montana stream team i am a studint form ophir school.a fu days a go i went to the glaton river and i colcked mackro nivutrbrat and other bugs it was vary hard to get the all of the bugs and rocks a lot of bugs live on rocks we put them in water and serpt them
